Almost everybody would agree that the passing year 2020 was a special one. For me it meant switching from travel-intensive work (155 flights last year!) to home office. It also meant more hiking in my home country than travelling abroad. Let me share my impressions of the Year 2020 in 12 Photos - July.
Photo of the month
I spent every Saturday of July hiking. Most of it was the **Beskid Niski **(the Low Beskids) mountains, Poland. The name of the range may suggest the mountains are not worth being mentioned. One couldn't be more wrong. The mountains are remote, beautiful and many times challenging. Therefore all my July photos will be from the Beskid Niski mts.
My pick for photo of the month is a fire salamander. Fresh after a heavy rain, the salamander was sunbathing on my path. I approached really close and it didn't escape. It may thought its colors made it invisible. Anyhow, I was able to take this great photo.
